Why do you Kiteboard ?

It’s the cleanest way to get high and it is the best escape from day to day life. And I seem to be good at it.

What do you like about the new Flexifoil kites?They are simple and they make kitesurfing simple.

What gear are you using this year?Atoms and Fusions and ions and stings and buzz’s.

Your opinion on competition?I just cant stop winning them I think I might quite while I am ahead 3 is enough eh!

Boardshorts over the wetsuit?Good for freestyle and stuped for waves.

Favourite drink?Ginger lemon and honey emmmmmmmmmmm.

Favourite kiteboarding movie?Soul fly for unreal wave riding.

Most memorable kiteing sessions so far..?Tuesday in October last year at moseys. I remember getting in the water at about 9 in the morning to catch the tide right. It was a perfect 6/7 foot well over double over head perfect cross shore from the left and massive walls. I was getting 8 to 10 turns on the wave. I remember thinking which would I prefer, having a job that gave me loads of money and missing this, or being here as I gybed in front of another monster getting ready to start peeling in front of me..! I chose the waves every time.

Best excuse used in order to ditch work to go kiting?My dog needs to go to the vet..!

Your best advice to newcomers in kiteboarding?If it doesn’t feel right it is not right. Get a lesson. And stay with inyour limits at the start and keep it simple.
